Dayton, OH, April 6, 2016– Jefferson Township Fire Department is pleased to announce it has received a grant from Brothers Helping Brothers. This grant will support the yearly training of firefighters and citizens in CPR skills.
“With this acquisition, the Jefferson Township Fire Department will be able to maintain the CPR skills of not only the department members, but also be able to conduct CPR training for any individual wishing to be CPR certified” say Battalion Chief Chad McInturff.
Brothers Helping Brothers helps small and rural fire departments obtain critical tools and equipment through their grant program. Brothers Helping Brothers received these CPR mannequins as a donation to their mission, and according to Co-Executive Director Nick Magoteaux, “It’s only natural to find and help a local department who needs these vital training props.”
