Help Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department Recover

$45 of $15,000 raised

Thomasville Missouri Volunteer Fire Department was recently wiped out by flooding from a “500 year flood” that hit southern Missouri. Their tanker was twisted on the frame, their engine had sand and water everywhere – including inside the engine, and  their old brush truck is in the same shape.

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus is gone. Fire gear and such are gone.

They have looked downstream and found nothing.

Thomasville is a small town, just a wide spot in the wilderness basically. 68 people population, but they take care of a wide area in a very rural county. They need fire protection also.

Any help we can get them would be really appreciated. Their insurance was liability only. They will be putting in for AFG this next time around, but even if they got a new engine, it would come at a minimum 15k cost share, money they simply do not have.

We are trying to raise $15,000 to help purchase fire gear, self contained breathing apparatus, and tools for Thomasville!
